How Billing and Invoicing works

This article explains how we handle billing periods and when you will get billed for your service.

Updated over a week ago

Billing Periods

When you sign up for a subscription, we will note down the current day of the month as your billing day. This means that you will receive an invoice on that day every month. For example, if you sign up on the 15th of the month, your billing day will be set to the 15th of every month.

However, if you sign up between the 29th and 31st of the month, your billing day will be set to the 1st of the following month. This is because not all months have 29, 30, or 31 days, so we want to ensure that you are always billed on the same day of the month.

Add-ons

When you order add-ons, we will bill you for the entire month. This means that even if you order the add-on during an already-running billing period, you will be invoiced for the full monthly price. For some add-ons, a 50% discount applies if more than half of the current billing period has already passed.

Changing Billing Periods

Due to technical and administrative restrictions, your billing period is final and cannot be changed.
